Our Mascot "George" (Tibetan Dream)Raising llamas and working with people have many similarities. The largest, though, is mutual respect. A llama has to respect his owner in the paddock. The only way that occurs is if the owner respects the llama. Same goes with people. Mutual respect goes a long way.
In 2006, our founder Thom showed llamas for five years, won a few ribbons, money, and trophies, but the real reward was bonding with these amazing creatures. One was his light wool division champion, Tibetan Dream, whom he affectionately called “George.” George has since passed on, but his spirit remains as our mascot at 3 Llama Press. George learned, but in so doing, George also taught; and for these reasons, he represents our core value of “Continual Learning.” |
“That’s what storytellers do. We restore order with imagination. We instill hope again and again.”
